Cool game!!

Super fun to play but the hints arent cheap! Better options for hints, please!!!

Price it down

Great games, but hint cost is too high. Either increase scoring coins or decrease coins reqd for hint.

Avid gamer

Great game. Very difficult at times. Sometime wish I could get a hint or two every once an awhile.

Like it, but hints are expensive

I like the challenge of this game, but the hints cost way too much. Ive had to delete and download to start over. Please update and increase amount you win per puzzle and decrease the cost of hints otherwise its being deleted!

Too Easy

Granted, Im only at level 201. Im still waiting for the words to get harder. Is there a difficulty level setting that Im missing?

Word Strike

Challenging game, but it is pricey.

Quickly very boring

I liked the idea of this game but there are a lot of issues. You start to get stuck after a few levels and the only help that you get is a letter. They cost way too many coins compared to what you gain at every step. You cant choose the level, cant scramble the available letters, it becomes boring very quickly and end up abandoning it.

Good game

Some are very challenging which is fun but 59 coins are way too much for a hint and you dont get enough of a bonus for solving the puzzle. I would rate this 5 stars if they fixed those to be more appropriate.

Good game to pass the time

Decent game, but some clues are not helpful. Hints are too much.

bought coins but cant use

seriously... I love the game BUT... I bought coins and it shows that I have 59 coins but I cant use...does it take 100 coins for 1 hint... who knows...

I agree with others writers, I dont like not being able to skip, pass, or start another game. It is frustrating to not be able to continue play .

Fun, but theres a problem.

I enjoy this game, but theres a bug. When I want a clue, and have many coins, the game tells me that Im out if coins even though Im not. If the bug gets fixed then Id give this a five star rating.

Word Strike=good fun

Plays very challenging at some levels. Ive had to use coins couple of times but at level 156, Im not bored. Makes you try forming words when stumped which builds brain power.

Challenging...

At times very challenging, at others easy. Still, very enjoyable especially at the price!

Its ok

Its not as fun as I thought it would be

Could be better

This game has some very easy words and very challenging words so I thought it would be a lot of fun. But 69 coins to get one letter? Very frustrating! That is way too high when the pay off for a correct answer is only 3 coins. More coins for more difficult word would be a good fix. Or maybe half the amount of coins to get a letter clue.

Elementrigue

I love this game, and give it a five star rating, I will buy more coins as soon as possible.

Fun game, but one-letter clues are over-priced. Game sure eats up a lot of my battery life.

Fun but Room for Growth

If youre a fan of Scrabble(c), Boggle(c) or any other word game, Word Strike is a decent pocket game to get those mind juices going--you have a wide range of easy and simple to "who would know that?!". Id recommend it to include in your collection of TidBits Apps. With that said, I have my judgements about it. First off, the words tend to cycle too quickly; within 60 levels, I experienced the same word 3 times. Easy 9 coins but not worth the time. If anything, a "Time Trial" feature, higher pay out for solving the word faster, would make up for that. Secondly, theres been a lot of review focus on the cost of a clue. Im actually okay with it--its meant to deter you into getting friends to help you over social networks (thus introducing them to the game). When times gets rough, I understand that frustration but thats part of the fun. It would interesting if you had two clue options: free letter or replace an existing clue. My work around? Screenshots to people via MMS who would know of the subject matter a little better (like sports, film, etc). It is a high note that all the words are common enough--nothing outrageously specific or out of reach by most people. Lastly, activating the achievement features would have gotten this game another star from me. Having to compete quietly with myself got old fast (ie 40 words in five minutes). None the less, Ill keep this game around to see where it goes.
